Age limit: Applicant’s age should be between 18 years to 25 years as on the last date of 15-07-2016. Age relaxation would be applicable up to 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC candidates as per government rules.
Educational qualification:
For Assistant Sub Inspector: Candidates must have matriculation with 3 year Diploma in Radio & TV Technology/Telecommunication/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering/ Computer/ Electrical/ Domestic Appliances from any recognized university by the central government/ state government.
For Head Constable: Candidates must have matriculation or its equivalent qualification. Applicants must have 2-year industrial training institute certificate in radio & TV/ electronics/ intermediate/ 10+2/ equivalent with physics, chemistry and mathematics from any recognized university.
Selection process: Applicants will be selected based on written examination (OMR based screening test), descriptive test preliminary screening and physical efficiency test.
Application fee: all General and OBC candidates have to pay application fee of Rs. 50/- through demand draft in favor of inspector general/ DIG/ payable at respective SBI/ post office. No application fee for SC/ ST/ BSF serving personnel and female candidates.
How to apply: all interested candidates may apply through online at official website from 16-06-2016 to 15-07-2016. Send the print out of online application form along with original DD in an envelope to the official address. Application envelop should super scribe as “Application for the Post of ASI/RM or HC (RO)” within 15 days from the last date of online application form.
