Educational Requirements: The incumbent should be M V Sc (Animal Nutrition) with minimum 2 years of relevant experience or MSc (Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry) or any other related field of science with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Desirable Qualifications: 1) Working experience of analytical techniques in the nutritional and compositional analysis of food, feed and Agricultural products. 2) Good theoretical and practical knowledge about chemical composition of various food and feed ingredients. 3) Working experience in any chromatographic instrument would be preferable.

Experience Requirements: 2 - 5 year(s)

Desired Skills: 1) Candidate should be well versed in MS office and capable of using instrumental software and ERP. 2) Candidate should be results oriented and has ability to manage & work amicably with team to improve productivity.

Job Responsibilities / Job Description: 1. Analysis of feed ingredients for proximate parameters. 2. Candidate would be responsible for monitoring the analysis in proximate section and ensuring accuracy & timely reporting of results. 3. Carrying out performance verification for newly adopted methods and responsible for scope enhancement and meeting accreditation requirement. Carrying out analytical operations as per requirement of ISO 17025.

The National Dairy Development Board’s creation is rooted in the conviction that our nation’s socio-economic progress lies largely on the development of rural India.
The National Dairy Development Board was created to promote, finance and support producer-owned and controlled organisations. NDDB’s programmes and activities seek to strengthen farmer cooperatives and support national policies that are favourable to the growth of such institutions. GENESIS
The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) was founded in 1965 to replace exploitation with empowerment, tradition with modernity, stagnation with growth, transforming dairying into an instrument for the development of India’s rural people.
NDDB began its operations with the mission of making dairying a vehicle to a better future for millions of grassroots milk producers. The mission achieved thrust and direction with the launching of “Operation Flood”, a programme extending over 26 years and which used World Bank loan to finance India’s emergence as the world’s largest milk producing nation. Operation Flood’s third phase was completed in 1996 and has to its credit a number of significant achievements.
As on March 2014, India’s 1,60,000 village dairy cooperatives federated into 177 milk unions and 15 federations procured on an average 34.2 million kg of milk every day. 15.4 million farmers are presently members of village dairy cooperatives. Since its inception, the Dairy Board has planned and spearheaded India’s dairy programmes by placing dairy development in the hands of milk producers and the professionals they employ to manage their cooperatives. In addition, NDDB also promotes other commodity-based cooperatives, allied industries and veterinary biologicals on an intensive and nation-wide basis.
