Jammu and Kashmir Police (JK Police) invites Online applications from
the permanent residents of J&K State for police recruitment of
Sub-Inspector (SI) in (Executive/ Armed) Wings and Telecommunication
Wing of J&K Police. The Online registration start from second Week
of January 2017.
Age Limit: 18 to 28 Years as on 1st days of January 2016.
Pay Scale: ₹ 9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay ₹ 4240/-
Educational Qualification: [From a recognized University]
SI (Executive / Armed) -> Graduate Degree in any discipline.
SI (Telecommunication) -> Graduate Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering / Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
Physical Standards:
(a) For male candidates -> Height = 5’-6” (min.); Chest = 32” (un-expanded), 33½” (expanded)
(b) For female candidates -> Height = 5’-2” (min.) Selection Process: Physical Endurance Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Examination (Objective Type) and Viva-Voce/ Personality Assessment test.
Application Fee: A candidate shall deposit online fee of ₹ 300/- or use the services of Common Service Centers In case of non availability of online payment facility the candidate may use the option of depositing the application fee through Bank Challan.
How to Apply: Eligible J&K State Residents apply online through JK Police official website. The Last date for submission of online application form shall be 30 days after the activation of the link which will be notified separately in the second week of January 2017.
