Directorate General, Border Security Force (BSF), New Delhi-03
invites applications from Male / Female Indian Citizens for appointments
on combatised posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) and Head
Constable (Ministerial) in BSF 2016-17, Ministry of Home Affairs,
Government of India.
Age Limit: Between 18 to 25 years as on 01/01/2017.
Educational Qualification:
(1) Intermediate (Matric with 12th) or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
(2) Shorthand Speed for ASI (Steno) - Shorthand speed @ 80 words per minute in English OR in Hindi for 10 minutes. Transcription of dictation in English in 50 minutes on computer OR transcription of dictation in Hindi in 65 minutes on computer.
(3) Typing Speed for HC (Min) - Typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minute in English OR 30 words per minute in Hindi corresponding to 10500 KDPH in English/9000 KDPH in Hindi with average of 5 key depressions for each word on computer. Time-10 minutes.

Selection Process:
(1) First Phase - Written Examination
(2) Second Phase - Physical Measurement Test (PST), Shorthand Speed Test (only for ASI/Steno), Typing Speed Test (only for HC/Min), Documentation (Checking of Documents), Medical Examination
Application Fee: Each application should be accompanied by a crossed Bank Draft/ Postal Order for ₹ 100/- as examination fee in favour of authority to whom the application is addressed, payable at respective SBI/ Post office at the location. However, the SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen, Departmental (BSF) candidates and All Women candidates are not required to submit examination fee.
How to Apply: The eligible candidates may utilize the application format and send the application so as to reach at any one of the Examination Centres given on the BSF website on or before 30 days after publication of this advertisement in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar dated 3rd to 9th December 2016 (i.e. Last date will be 02/01/2017). Last date for receipt of applications in respect of candidates belonging to far flung areas of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern States will be on or before 45 days after publication of this advertisement in Employment News.
The
