Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) invites Online Applications from Indian Citizens (Teachers) for filling up 6205 teaching staff Vacancies of the Principal, Post Graduate Teachers(PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers(TGTs), Primary Teacher (PRT) and Primary Teacher (Music) for the Years 2016-17 and 2017. The KVS Teacher Recruitment 2016 Online Registration start from 27th September 2016 and close on 17th October 2016.
About: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act. (XXI of 1860) on 15th December, 1965. The KVS, an Autonomous Body under MHRD, Government of India.

Qualification & Experience:
Principal ->
(1) Master Degree from recognized university with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
(2) B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree.
(3) Teaching Experience (Principals, Vice Principal, PGT, TGT Level) Required.
(4) Desirable - Knowledge of Computer Applications.
PGT ->
(1) Two Year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject (OR) Post Graduate in concerned Discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
(2) B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
(3) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.
TGT ->
(1) Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate (OR) Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate.
(2) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Sidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
(3) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
(4) Desirable - Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Primary Teacher ->
(1) Senior Secondary School Certificate (Matriculation with 12th) with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent;
(2) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
(3) Competence to teach through Hindi & English media.
(4) Desirable - Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Primary Teacher (Music) ->
(1) Senior Secondary School Certificate (Matriculation with 12th) with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent.
(2) Bachelor Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognised University.
(3) Competence to teach through English/Hindi media.
(4) Desirable - Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Examination Fee: A Non-refundable application fee of ₹ 1200/-for the post of Principal and ₹ 750/- for the posts of PGTs, TGTs, Primary Teacher, Primary Teacher (Music). The fee pay through Bank e-Challan. No fee is required to be paid by candidates belonging to SC / ST / PH categories and Ex-Service men candidates.
Selection Process: Written Examination and Interview. The KVS reserves the right to decide the cut off marks in written examination and interview separately.
How To Apply: Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply only online through KVS’s Online website portal from 27/09/2016 to 17/10/2016 up to Midnight.
