Finance team at HPE provides world class decision support driving

In
the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working
on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and
acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display
all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.
Supevisor Finance:
Job Roles & Responsibilities :
Shift timings : AMS(5:30 PM - 2:30 AM) Job location : Bangalore
Main people management responsibilities:
• Manage a team of experienced financial analysts & Invoicing Analyst
• Manage Employee Goal Setting - Goals discussion with every employee to ensure alignment.
•
Evaluate employees' job performance and decide on performance rating.
Conduct formal mid-year and year end Performance Evaluations. Regularly
provide feedback and coaching
• Perform salary and bonus administration based on rating, pay band and guidelines
•
Engage with every employee via regular 1-1s (minimum quarterly) to
address and manager-to-employee matter such as engagement, work life
balance, total rewards and performance level
Main financial management responsibilities (individually and through the Team ):
•
Providing support to the Account Executives by directly leading the
invoicing process & financial management of the assigned contracts.
•
Leading the Forecast/Month-End-Close/Invoicing cycle – E2E process for
assigned contracts; completing variance analysis, reporting and being
the subject matter expert for financials of the accounts assigned.
•
Development of financial modeling to evaluate the accounts cost base
relative to the Plan of Record, Budget and Forecast
expectations. Manage productivity analysis and reporting.
•
Manage financial impacts within the accounts – including HP employees,
contractors, 3rd party contracts, and hardware and software
procurement. Provide decision support.
•
Provides financial analysis and support for a complex environment,
exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best
method for achieving objectives.
•
Consult with business leaders to guide and influence strategic
decision-making within the assigned accounts. Ability to influence
multiple cost centers within a broad scope, typically interacting with
directors and VPs.
•
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and policy
development and engaging in the design. Leading business initiatives
across multiple regions/towers/accounts.
•
Maintain strong business controls based on audit standards; actively
review, analyze, and manage the key controls within the domain of
responsibility to ensure compliance with legal and accounting
requirements (e.g., Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP),
Standards of Business Conduct (SBC), Accounting Financial Manual (AFM)
• Support monthly Business Operations Review packages for EMEA and other ad hoc support for EMEA reviews
• Coordinate and execute budget planning (inclusive Gap to Budget analysis and Risk Management)
• Account Impairment Review, Contract Review, Contingency Reporting (if necessary) ownership
Skills Required
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Good experience in Invoicing process
• Excellent analytical and business application skills
• Good project management skills
• Strong business acumen
• Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
•
Excellent understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP), Invoicing
process, dispute management, financial analysis, with advanced
knowledge in Revenue Recognition.
• Leadership, autonomy, maturity
• Hard worker, looking to forth their best effort and willing to learn
• Quick learner, with the ability to create solutions for problems
• Ability to lead others in a process, and work with a team to synchronize and develop a common understanding.
• Ability to take initiative and work flexibly & independently.

• Ability to effectively use the HP tools – Sharepoints, Virtual Classrooms, conference call, etc..
